1. Welcome to Cross Tuner
Thank you for downloading Cross Tuner! The design for Professor Erkeley’s Cross Tuner has been painstakingly reproduced for the app experience of the 21st Century based upon his detailed drawings. While Professor Erkeley could never have foreseen the iPhone, we still wanted to honor his legacy through our design.
2. Target the Cross Tuner Sensor
Cross Tuner works by zeroing in on special subsonic frequencies emanating from a given subject. The tuning process is delicate so knowing what specific subject is talking or who you are trying to listen to will help improve reception.
3. Speak!
Once you are tuned into a subject, speak to them in order to spur their brains into thought.
One of the surprising discoveries made by Professor Erkeley is that as animals evolve, their more “primitive” thoughts and instincts are not replaced by newer more dominant ones, they are simply “painted over.” Therefore, in theory, if you knew what to listen for and how to listen for it, you could tune into one of those instinctual layers, much like you tune into a station on the radio.
4. Listen In!
Once the target has been identified, Cross Tuner automatically begins adjusting its receptors to tune into the evolutionary frequency you have selected.
Once you have tuned in you can record video of your discoveries to share with your friends.
Our research team is still working to uncover the as-yet undiscovered frequencies or our evolutionary ancestors. As we discover more, we will make them available to you automatically. So stay tuned. No pun intended.
5. Share what you find.
After you have recorded a video we encourage you to share what you have discovered with friends and family on Facebook and/or YouTube.
Also, feel free to tag and identify who is in your videos and photos and we will do what we can to notify them of the video or photo that was just shared.
